We are looking to recruit a Software Engineer Intern to join our team and help us build and maintain robust backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation in programming and a passion for learning backend development. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our senior backend developers to develop and maintain our backend systems.
 

INTERNSHIP PERIOD: 01 June 2023 - 31 August 2023

*Upon achievement of performance levels deemed exceptional by managers and directors, an extension of the internship period by a further 3-months and/or receiving a permanent, full-time offer is possible.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior backend developers to design and develop backend systems.

• Write and maintain code in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

• Create and maintain database structures and queries.

• Troubleshoot and debug backend systems as needed.

 

Requirements:

• Good foundation in programming concepts and familiarity with backend languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

• Familiarity with database structures and queries.

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A passion for learning and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.

• Currently pursuing/possess a bachelor’s degree in/from a local-accredited university in Hong Kong.
